Designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Hills, Maryland National takes full advantage of the dramatic terrain changes and wetlands surrounding the course. The par 71, 6811-yard masterpiece includes both open holes designed to challenge the long hitter, and wetland-surrounded greens that will test the accuracy of the shot maker. Maryland National Golf Club uses five sets of tees that allow golfers of all skill levels to enjoy playing the golf course. Since its grand opening in 2002 Maryland National has been recognized as a top ten public facility in the state. Golfweek Magazine also recognized Maryland National as one of the Best New Public Golf Courses in the United States in 2005.
